SCHOOL HISTORY

TheTriumph Christian Academy all started as a pre-school in July 2002 within theTriumph Evangelistic Ministry’s building. Meanwhile, the ideal that gave birthto this institution was brought forward by the late Wilhelmina L. Dennis, andothers on a Sunday afternoon right after service. She also suggested the colorof uniform which is the green and yellow that the school is now using today. The late Wilhelmina’s ideal was relevant and supported by the late pastor MichaelM. Foday, mother Francess Jartu Foday, Mr. J. Sebastain A. Miller Sr., BrotherDavid Toe Jr., the late Deacon Cecil T. Berrian, Pastor Aaron S. Whisnant, andthe late Ma-Edith Blama.

TheTriumph Christian Academy was officially declared as a full flesh institutionby the ministry of education in July, 2003 and was given the permission tostart its operation on September 8, 2003. The school managed to survive underthe sponsor and proprietorship of the late Pastor Michael M. Foday.

The  late pastor Foday later called on board the late pastor Robert G. Karlay Sr.who served as principal at the school’s new beginning. His administrationlasted for 2 years (2003-2005). His team mates were: the late Wilhelmina L.Dennis who served as registrar, alongside with the late Oretha Garswah, thelate Henry W. Monger Jr. served as Vice principal for Instruction, J. SebastainA. Miller Sr. who served as Dean of student, Mr. Eric B. Kamara  who also served as Vice principal forAdministration, and many others.

Atthe ending of 2005, the late pastor Karlay was no longer able to serve the institutionas a principal effectively due to numerous engagement at the Caldwell road A.G.Mhigh school.

Notwithstanding,Mr. Eric B. Kamara commonly known as “teacher pepper” was appointed by theproprietor as a new principal in 2006. Mr. Kamara served the institution forfive (5) years (2006-2011).

Duringhis administration, the institution was faced with lots of challenges thatcause the junior high section to be eliminated and brought backwardness to thelearning process and infrastructural development of the institution.

Earlyin 2012, Mr. J. Sebastain A. Miller Sr. was appointed as a principal of theschool. Mr. Miller took over as a result of poor management of the institution frompast administrations. He is serving as the current principal of this greatinstitution.

Todayas we can see, through the help of the Almighty God, Mr. J. Sebastain A. MillerSr. has upgraded the institution from its confounded state to a better juniorhigh level. The teachers are all equipped to the teeth for the penetration of abetter education through the minds of these future leaders of Liberia.

Theschool is now progressing under the current leadership of Mr. J. Sebastain A.Miller, Sr. (Principal) Miss. Mercy H. Baker (Vice Principal for Administration),Mr. Moses B.
